Education Support Initiative: "Preserve your identity – Build your future"
The School Committee and Parent-Teacher Association of Xanthi Minority Middle and High School have launched a new project titled “Support for Education and Our Students” aimed at enhancing students’ academic journey and social development.
Announced on Thursday, 29 May, the initiative seeks to boost academic performance, increase student participation in social, cultural, and sports activities, strengthen ties with the school, and offer targeted programs for parents.
Under the slogan "Preserve Your Identity – Build Your Future," the project will host a range of summer sports activities at the school’s sports facility. Throughout the upcoming academic year, various events will be organized for both students and parents.
Highlighted Activities Include:
- Social, educational, and recreational activities for students
- Surprise gifts for all new first-grade middle school students
- Free t-shirts and tracksuits for all students
- €10 stationery support per student
- Organized student trips
- Summer sports programs
- Robotics and chess classes
- Psychological and educational counseling for students and parents
- Introductory and informative meetings with parents of new students
The program reflects a broader effort to empower the Turkish minority community in Western Thrace through education while preserving cultural identity.
