East Macedonia Thrace Development Company established
Vasilis Galanis became the first president of the limited company, which will provide scientific consultancy, technical and legal support for the steps to be taken and the investments to be made for the development of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
Lawyer Sokratis Ksinidis from Xanthi and engineer Mihalis Amiridis took part in the first board of directors of the company, while Sebahattin Gasil, a member of the minority, doctor from Komotini, will serve as a board member.
After the approval of the East Macedonian Thrace State Economic Commission and the State Development Fund's board of directors, it was announced that "East Macedonian Thrace State Development Company (AN.OR.AMTH) was established.
It was noted that the said organization, which was registered as a public limited company, will operate in the fields of scientific consultancy and technical support for individuals, private companies as well as local government and state institutions.
It was stated that the company in question will provide consultancy to private and government departments in benefiting from the Development Law and EU programs.
It has been announced that the company, headquartered in Komotini, has shares of the Eastern Macedonia Thrace State with 700 thousand euros and the Eastern Macedonia Thrace State Regional Development Fund with 672,000 euros.
The 9-member board of directors consists of:
