DUTh Campus Run 2025: A thrilling race in Komotini
The highly anticipated DUTh Campus Run 2025 is set to take place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 10:30 AM within the campus of Democritus University of Thrace (DUTh). The event features two race distances: 7,000 meters and 14,000 meters.
The racecourse is flat, with no altitude variations, and runs through the forested area of the university campus. The terrain is primarily dirt roads, making it suitable for both seasoned runners and beginners looking to challenge themselves in a scenic environment.
Free Participation & Registration

Eligibility & Age Restrictions
All runners 18 years and older are eligible to participate in either distance. Young athletes aged 14 to 18 years may only compete in the 7,000-meter race, provided their parents or legal guardians submit a signed consent form at the event’s registration desk before the race begins.
Volunteer & Organizational Support
The event is supported by 50 student volunteers from the Department of Physical Education & Sport Science (TEFAA) at DUTh, primarily specializing in track and field sports. The goal of the event is to promote fitness, health, and athletic tourism in the region of Rhodope.
