Dr. Sadik Ahmet was asked as a question in the 'Say Bakalım' contest
In the TRT TÜRK's 250,000 Turkish Lira award-winning quiz contest in Türkiye "Say Bakalım", the guest contestant was asked, "Who is the medical doctor and politician who was fighting for the rights of the Turks of Western Thrace?". 'Ali Uras', 'Sadik Ahmet', 'Nihat Reşat Belger' and 'Gazi Yaşargil' were among the answer choices.
Dr. Sadik Ahmet continues to be remembered and kept alive in many fields in Türkiye and the Turkish world, due to his important contributions to the struggle for rights of Western Thrace Turks.
As will be remembered, the book 'Dr Sadık Ahmet' was published by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) in order to introduce the legacy of Sadik Ahmet to future generations and to commemorate Sadik Ahmet's 75th birthday.
