Dep Citizen Protection Min Nikolakopoulos visits border fence in Evros

The Deputy Minister of Citizen Protection Andreas Nikolakopoulos, paid a visit to Evros on Sunday.
According to an announcement, Nikolakopoulos inspected the border fence and then spoke with the border guards in Soufli.
Nicolakopoulos stressed that the border fence is a strong deterrent barrier, where the border guards-members of Hellenic Police, the Army, and Frontex forces-offer daily services through continuous and uninterrupted checks, serving strictly the basic principle of the Government's policy of strong national security.
