“Creative Europe” program to be presented in Gümülcine
The Creative Europe Greece Office, under the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, will hold an informational event titled “Local Communities and Culture – The Creative Europe Program.”
The event will take place on Wednesday, November 19 at 6:00 p.m., in the “Yorgos Pavlidis” conference hall at the former prefectural building in Gümülcine.
Speakers will include Fani Bacharidou, Deputy Regional Governor for Economy, Culture, and Volunteering of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, and representatives of the Creative Europe Greece Office. Emmanouil Tapakas, Deputy Regional Governor for Rhodope, will also deliver a brief welcome address.
The aim of the event is to inform local cultural organizations and citizens interested in the arts about the funding opportunities offered by the European Commission’s “Creative Europe” program, which supports cultural and creative sectors across Europe.
As the only EU-wide financing program dedicated to culture and the creative industries, Creative Europe provides funding for international cooperation projects, individual mobility programs such as Culture Moves Europe, and other initiatives.
The event will also showcase successful examples of previously funded projects, offering inspiration and guidance for potential applicants.
