Cooperation between the Municipality of Komotini and UNICEF

Within the framework of the “Child and Youth Friendly Cities” initiative, the Municipality of Komotini will cooperate with UNICEF (United Nations Children's Aid Fund).

The cooperation agreement will be signed on Thursday, April 27 at 11.30 am at the Komotini Municipality Library.

The agreement will be signed by the Mayor of Komotini, Yannis Garanis, and UNICEF Greece Office Deputy Representative Aspasia Plakantonaki.

After the signing ceremony, Komotini Municipality, “exagono” Youth and Volunteering Center, “Thrakis Kinitro” Social Cooperative Enterprise and UNICEF GREECE, Rhodope Secondary Education Directorate will organize an event titled “Design Your Future, Your Voice Matters” for young people.

“What would you like from local authorities to make your cities more child-and youth-friendly?” An online discussion will follow.
