Consul General Ünal visits Baraklı Village
Türkiye’s Consul General in Gümülcine, Aykut Ünal, visited Baraklı village, located in the Rhodope region and part of the Municipality of Gümülcine, where he performed Friday prayers together with members of the local Turkish community. Consul General Ünal also had the opportunity to speak with residents and exchange views.
During his visit to Baraklı, Consul General Ünal was accompanied by Gümülcine Mufti İbrahim Şerif.
Following the visit, the Consulate General of Türkiye in Gümülcine shared a post on its official social media account, stating:
“We met with our kinsmen in the village of Baraklı in Rhodope. We thank them for their invitation and hospitality.”
Mufti İbrahim Şerif also issued a message, noting:
“Today, we performed the Friday prayer in Baraklı, one of our nearby villages. We delivered our sermon on ‘The Purpose of Human Creation.’ We thank the villagers for their warm welcome.”
