Consul General Ünal hosts 2025 Seçek Ağa and Community Leaders at Consulate Residence
Among the guests were Necmettin Kahya, President of the Seçek Minority Education and Culture Association, Ali Koç, the 2025 Seçek Yayla Ağa (Honorary Sponsor of the Festival), and several local community leaders. Consul General Ünal was accompanied by Deputy Consul Adnan Öztürk.
Also in attendance were Mustafa Trampa, Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and Mufti of Xanthi, as well as İbrahim Şerif, Mufti of Komotini.
In a post shared via the official social media accounts of the Consulate General, the visit was described as follows:
"We hosted the President of the Seçek Minority Education and Culture Association, the 2025 Seçek Yayla Ağa, and distinguished regional figures at the residence of our Consulate General, ahead of the upcoming Ashura and Seçek Oil Wrestling & Cultural Events. We wish success and blessings in their ongoing efforts and preparations."
