The “Children’s Mosque” program launched by the İskeçe Mufti’s Office continues to be implemented for children aged 3 to 12.

Designed as an activity- and practice-based educational initiative, the program aims to help children build an early bond with mosques while instilling religious and moral values in a positive and engaging way.

Held once a week in mosques, the program includes games, educational activities, values education, familiarization with the mosque environment, and lessons on sharing and responsibility. Core values such as love, respect, brotherhood, and morality are conveyed through age-appropriate, enjoyable, and easily understandable methods.

Through the “Children’s Mosque” program, organizers aim to help children develop a fondness for the mosque environment, feel comfortable within it, and become acquainted with religious concepts in a healthy and balanced manner.

The program is currently being implemented regularly in four different areas across İskeçe: Sünnemahalle, Koruköy, Hürriyet Neighborhood of İskeçe, and the village of Kireççiler.

Officials from the İskeçe Mufti’s Office stated that such activities, which support the spiritual development of children, are carried out with great care. They emphasized that special importance is given to transforming mosques into safe, welcoming, and educational spaces for children.

Parents who wish to receive detailed information about the days and locations where the “Children’s Mosque” program is held are advised to contact the İskeçe Mufti’s Office directly.
