Change of task in Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform
At the ceremony held on Monday, October 31, the spokesperson of the Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform passed from Aslı Ali, the Head of the Komotini Turkish Youth Union Women's Branch, to Zeynur Bargan, the Head of the Xanthi Turkish Union Women's Section.
Aslı Ömeroğlu, wife of Türkiye's Consul General in Komotini, Murat Ömeroğlu, and the members of the platform attended the dinner. Aslı Ali, Head of the Women's Branch of the Turkish Youth Union in Komotini, emphasized the importance of the Women's Platform and stated that she was the spokesperson of the platform that served the longest due to the pandemic.
Aslı Ali wished success to Zeynur Bargan, the new spokesperson of the Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform, and expressed that she would always be by her side.
Zeynur Bargan, the head of the Xanthi Turkish Union Women's Branch and the new spokesperson of the Women's Platform, also thanked the members of the platform who deemed her worthy of this task and stated that she will do her best to carry the Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform further during her term. Zeynur Bargan gave a plaque of appreciation to Aslı Ali on behalf of the platform.
Lastly, Aslı Ömeroğlu, wife of Türkiye's Consul General to Komotini, Murat Ömeroğlu, thanked for the invitation, congratulated the former spokesperson for his work, and wished the new spokesperson success.
Members of the Women's Platform presented Aslı Ömeroğlu with a star lapel pin unique to Western Thrace. The night ended with a group photo shoot.
