Celal Bayar Minority High School students explore the lagoons of Rhodope

The A3 class of Celal Bayar Minority High School took part in an environmental education event titled “The Lagoons of Rhodope,” held at the Maronia Environmental Education Center (KEPEA) on April 29.
The program began with an informative presentation on the bird species and wetlands of the region, aiming to raise students’ environmental awareness and help them gain firsthand knowledge of local biodiversity.
Following the presentation, the students went on a field trip to nearby lakes and wetlands. Equipped with bird-watching binoculars and telescopes, they had the opportunity to observe a variety of bird species in their natural habitats.
The students were accompanied by teachers Elli Kachia, Dora Karagianni, and Mehmet Mustafa, who guided them throughout the experience.
