Xanthi Central Turkish Minority Primary School Parents' Association launched a campaign for stray animals. The campaign, which was held for the first time last year, is being held for the second time.
In this context, under the leadership of the Parent-Teacher Association, piggy banks were placed in all classes.
Donations from teachers and students at the school will be collected in these piggy banks.
The money to be collected in the money boxes in the 12 classrooms of the school will then be delivered to the Xanthi Stray Animals Association to buy food for the stray animals.
With the campaign carried out last year, approximately 400 euros were collected in Xanthi Central Turkish Minority Primary School and delivered to the association.
In the post shared on the social media account of the Xanthi Stray Animals Association, the Parent-Teacher Association and those who contributed to the campaign was thanked.
Xanthi Central Turkish Minority Primary School Parents' Association stated that the campaign against stray animals continues and that special activities will be held for this purpose in the coming days.
It was noted that with the said campaign, the Parent-Teacher Association aimed to develop the awareness of responsibility, love of animals and teamwork in children.
