Call for solidarity rally with the Palestinian people in Dedeağaç

Trade unions in Alexandroupolis are organizing a solidarity gathering for the Palestinian people on Sunday, August 24, at 20:00, at the city’s Lighthouse (Faro).
According to the unions, the purpose of the event is to condemn the violence in Gaza and to express support for Palestinian society. The organizers demand:
- An end to military operations,
- Provision of humanitarian aid,
- Recognition of a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders,
- Termination of military, economic, and political cooperation with Israel.
