Bursa’s delegation holds contacts in Western Thrace

A delegation together with Bursa Yıldırım Mayor Oktay Yılmaz and Bursa Deputy Osman Mesten visited Western Thrace.

The delegation headed by Yıldırım Mayor Oktay Yılmaz visited Komotini on Thursday, April 14th.

The delegation, including Mayor Oktay Yılmaz, Bursa deputy Osman Mesten and Bursa Branch President of Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association Ali Eminlatif, visited Turkey's Consulate General in Komotini and met with Consul General Murat Ömeroğlu.

Yıldırım Mayor Yılmaz and his entourage later visited the Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and the Mufti of Komotini, İbrahim Şerif.

Yıldırım Municipality met with the Mufti of Xanthi in the same evening at the iftar program in Sakarkaya village of Xanthi.
