BTTÖB organizes poetry competition on "Gallipoli Wars and Victories"
The Western Thrace Turkish Teachers’ Union (BTTÖB) has announced a poetry competition themed "Gallipoli Wars and Victories."
According to a statement from BTTÖB, the competition will be held in three categories: primary school, middle school, and high school. The top three students in each category will be awarded prizes.
BTTÖB’s Official Announcement:
"Among the thousands of heroes who sacrificed themselves so that our empire’s flag could continue to wave in the sky, there were many ancestors from Ioannina to Didymoteicho. In honor of their memory and to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli Wars, we are organizing a Poetry Competition on the theme of ‘Gallipoli Wars and Victories.’ We invite all students to participate in this meaningful event, where we will award the top three winners in each category: primary school, middle school, and high school."
