BTAYTD pays official visit to regional governor Christodoulos Topsidis
A delegation from the Western Thrace Minority Higher Education Association (BTAYTD) paid an official visit to Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Regional Governor Christodoulos Topsidis, discussing issues concerning education, youth engagement and regional development.
The meeting focused on strengthening dialogue between regional authorities and civil society organizations representing members of the Turkish community in Western Thrace. Delegates exchanged views on educational opportunities, social participation and initiatives aimed at supporting young people pursuing higher education.
BTAYTD representatives emphasized the importance of maintaining open communication with public institutions and highlighted the association’s ongoing efforts to support students and graduates through academic, cultural and social activities.
Governor Topsidis welcomed the delegation and underlined the role of cooperation between regional authorities and civic organizations in promoting social cohesion and regional progress.
