BAKEŞ publishes new book on Western Thrace under Bulgarian Administration
The Western Thrace Minority Culture and Education Company (BAKEŞ) has released its 68th publication, a new book titled “Hemetli Village – Western Thrace Under Bulgarian Administration.”
Authored by retired teacher Mehmet İmamoğlu, the work is a monographic study that sheds light on Western Thrace during the period of Bulgarian rule. Drawing on the author’s personal experiences, the book combines historical information with in-depth examinations of the cultural elements of the Turkish Minority in Western Thrace.
