Atatürk to be commemorated in Gümülcine on the 87th anniversary of his passing
A commemoration ceremony will be held at the Turkish Consulate General in Gümülcine to mark the 87th anniversary of the passing of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye.
According to an announcement from the Consulate, the ceremony will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., with the participation of Turkish citizens and members of the Western Thrace Turkish community.
The Consulate’s statement reads:
“A commemoration ceremony will be held at our Consulate General on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 09:00, with the participation of our citizens and compatriots, to honor the memory of the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, on the 87th anniversary of his passing. Respectfully announced.”
