Association of Friends of Turkish Classical Art Music established
The first elections were held for the new management of the association established by the members of the Turkish Classical Music Choir operating under the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union.
An election was held at the first general assembly held on Saturday, December 3 to determine the new management and supervisory boards of the Turkish Classical Music Friends Association, which was established in August by the members of the Turkish Classical Music Chorus of the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union.
A statement was made by the association regarding the general assembly meeting that took place and the elections held for the new management and supervisory boards at the meeting.
The statement stated:
“We have operated as the Turkish Classical Music Choir within the body of the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union until today.
We had the idea of becoming an association for a long time. We established our association by putting this idea into practice in August 2022.
The aim of our association is to ensure the regular work of our choir, to promote Turkish Classical Art Music, to organize or participate in concerts in the country and abroad, to organize artistic events and to carry out joint activities with other associations with legal identity.
TURKISH CLASSICAL ART MUSIC FRIENDS ASSOCIATION, which we established with 23 founding members, held its first General Assembly on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
As of today, 42 members attended the General Assembly of our association, which has reached 57 members in total.
The distribution of votes after the General Assembly, in which Pervin Hayrullah was the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Emel İbram and Ali Alioğlu as the secretary, was formed as follows:
