Art exhibition of the Youth Community on violence against women in Komotini

November 25 was established by the U.N. as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and is an occasion to awaken and raise awareness of society as the phenomenon of violence against women is a global pandemic. Therefore, in the context of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, actions will take place to inform and raise awareness among citizens.

Specifically, on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 12:00 in the central square of Komotini, the young people of the city will present an artistic exhibition created by the Artistic Department of the Youth Community and an activist event that will refer to the issue of violence against women, awakening citizens of all age groups.

The action is carried out in collaboration with the Youth and Volunteering Center exagono of the municipality of Komotini, the Coun.S.Ep. Neo Erga, the Artistic Department of the Komotini Youth Community and volunteers from the "Youth Action For Democracy" program will participate in it.

The art exhibition will then be hosted inside the Komotini town hall from November 25 to 29.
