AI training for kiwi producers to be held in Xanthi

The Xanthi Chamber of Commerce will host a seminar on Monday, May 5, at 18:00, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in kiwi production.
DIGITAL SOLUTIONS FOR AGRICULTURE
Organized in collaboration with Democritus University of Thrace and the #DigiAgriFood initiative, the event will introduce “DigiKiwiApp,” a digital application developed by the Department of Informatics in Kavala. The app is designed to assist in the early detection of diseases in kiwi plants, aiming to improve both yield and sustainability in cultivation.
The seminar, titled “Artificial Intelligence and Disease Forecasting in Agriculture – The Kiwi Example,” will explore the broader use of AI technologies in farming, with a specific focus on diagnosing kiwi-specific plant diseases. Attendees will also learn about the consultancy and digital services offered by the DigiAgriFood center.
OPEN TO AGRICULTURAL STAKEHOLDERS
The event is open to all interested parties, particularly farmers, agronomists, agricultural consultants, and cooperative representatives. Participation is free of charge and does not require prior registration.
