ABTTF president Halit Habipoğlu's mother passes away at 83

Refika Habipoğlu, the mother of Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe (ABTTF) President Halit Habipoğlu, passed away in Germany on July 25 at the age of 83 after a period of health-related treatment.
Funeral prayers will be held on Tuesday, July 28, following the noon prayer at the DITIB Sultan Ahmet Mosque in Witten, Germany.
Following the funeral service, her body will be transported to Western Thrace, where she will be laid to rest in the village of Muratlı in the Rodopi regional unit in the coming days.
The Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe (ABTTF) is one of the leading umbrella organizations representing the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace across Europe.
