2 arrested in Komotini for shooting linked to personal dispute

Two men have been arrested in Komotini, on charges of shooting at three individuals, reportedly due to personal disputes.
The victims suffered minor injuries and received treatment at the local hospital before being discharged.
The suspects, aged 38 and 19, were taken into custody shortly after the incident. Police recovered seven bullet casings from the scene and seized a hunting rifle believed to have been used in the attack. Authorities said that the firearm had been reported stolen in 1999 from a house in Chrysoupoli, a town in the Kavala regional unit.
A case file has been prepared against the suspects for attempted homicide, firearm law violations, and theft. They have been referred to the public prosecutor for further legal action.
