Turkish Grand National Assembly's Human Rights Committee pay visit to London
The visit included a series of meetings with representatives of the Turkish community living in the UK.
During their stay in London, the committee met with members of the Turkish community at the Yunus Emre Institute (10 Maple Street, W1T 5HA). The discussions focused on important issues regarding the social relations between Turkey and the UK, as well as diaspora efforts. Among the attendees was Ali Tahir Cambaz, President of the UK IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and a member of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority.
Cambaz provided insights into the issues faced by the Western Thrace Turkish Minority and shared solutions to address the needs of the Turkish community in the UK. The meeting served as a crucial platform for better understanding the needs and expectations of the Turkish community in London.
It was emphasized that such discussions during the TBMM delegation's visit would strengthen mutual cooperation aimed at protecting and enhancing the rights of Turkish communities living in both Turkey and the UK.
