Türkiye defeats Greece 3-0 to advance to the last 16 round
The national team won the match played in Düsseldorf, Germany, 3-0 with sets of 24-26, 16-25 and 26-28 and continues its path undefeated.
Turkish Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Düsseldorf Ayşegül Gökçen Karaarslan, AXA Insurance CEO and TVF Board Member Yavuz Ölken, TVF Health and Anti-Doping Board President Prof. Dr. Ufuk Demirkılıç watched the match. Turkish citizens living in Germany and coming from neighbouring countries did not leave the national team alone. After the match, Düsseldorf Consul General Ayşegül Gökçen Karaarslan congratulated the Sultans of Filenin and presented flowers.
The Turkish team, which made it to the last 16 round, will face the host Germany tomorrow at 21.00 in the last match of the group.
