Olympiakos has made the most of the points that PAOK, Panathinaikos and Aris dropped, opening a three-point distance at the top of the Super League table on Sunday with its road win at OFI.

The Reds defeated their Cretan host 2-0 at Iraklio with goals from Giulian Biancone and Chiqinho and finished first at the halfway point of the regular season.

AEK has climbed to joint second thanks to an impressive 4-0 result against Aris at home. Harold Moukoudi, Anthony Martial, Levi Garcia and Frantzdy Pierrot were on target for AEK.

PAOK was unable to beat bottom team Athens Kallithea at home, drawing 2-2 due to an injury-time equalizer. The Thessaloniki giant led twice, via Giannis Konstantelias and Kiril Despodov, but Kallithea was able to respond, first with Giannis Loukinas and eventually with Nicolas Isimat-Mirin.

Panathinaikos also dropped two points at home due to a late equalizer, drawing 1-1 at the Olympic Stadium of Athens with Atromitos, to drop to fourth. The Greens went ahead via Nemanja Maksimovic, but Thanasis Karamanis earned the Peristeri side an unlikely point.

In other weekend matches, Volos shared a goalless draw with Lamia, Levadiakos drew 1-1 with Panetolikos and Panserraikos saw off Asteras Tripolis 2-1.

Olympiakos leads the table with 27 points, AEK and PAOK have 24, Panathinaikos reached 23, Aris stayed on 21 and Panetolikos rose to 19.
