A 51-year-old woman died Monday morning after falling from the second floor of the Ministry of Tourism building on Amalias Avenue in central Athens, authorities said.
A 51-year-old woman died Monday morning after falling from the second floor of the Ministry of Tourism building on Amalias Avenue in central Athens, authorities said.
The incident occurred at around 8.30 a.m. Initial reports indicate the woman was an employee of the ministry. Her identity has not been released.
Emergency responders took her to Evangelismos Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of her death, including whether it was a suicide.
