Widespread showers expected Wednesday as Southeast winds strengthen
Greece will see unsettled weather on Wednesday, with rain spreading across western and southern regions and showers affecting central and eastern areas. The Ionian is expected to experience isolated thunderstorms as conditions gradually worsen through the day.
Temperatures will rise slightly, ranging from 2–11°C in Western Macedonia and 3–13°C in the rest of Macedonia and Thrace.
Epirus will see 7–17°C, Thessaly 4–15°C, Central Greece 4–17°C, and the Peloponnese 5–18°C. The Ionian Islands will reach 14–17°C, the Aegean 6–17°C, Rhodes 8–19°C, and Crete 11–19°C, locally up to 20°C.
Southeast winds will blow at 3–4 Beaufort, reaching 5 Beaufort in the Ionian and strengthening to 6 Beaufort in some areas by afternoon.
Athens: Cloudy with intervals of light rain, southeast winds 2–3 Beaufort, temperatures 11–16°C.
Thessaloniki: Cloudy with rain, northwest winds 2–3 Beaufort, temperatures 9–13°C.
