Who is ahead in the presidential race in PASOK?

On the eve of the date to be set for the presidential election to be held in the PASOK Party, the possible presidential candidates have also started to mobilise. In a survey conducted by a public opinion research company, Athens Mayor Haris Dukas, who is among the possible candidates for the PASOK presidency, was the most preferred candidate.
Who is ahead in the presidential race in PASOK?

Seventy per cent of the respondents stated that a new presidential election should be held as a result of the party's failure to increase the rates it received in the elections. Among the possible candidates, Athens Mayor Haris Dukas came first with 21.5 per cent of the vote, while current PASOK President Nikos Andrulakis came second with 20.9 per cent. Pavlos Gerulanos, one of the candidates, came third with 18.4 per cent and Manolis Christodoulakis fourth with 13.7 per cent.

Meanwhile, Christodoulakis announced his withdrawal from the presidential race in favour of Athens Mayor Haris Dukas. The respondents also answered the question "Which candidate can threaten Mitsotakis?". While 38 percent of the respondents answered "no candidate", 18.3 percent answered "Haris Dukas", 10.4 percent answered "Pavlos Gerulanos" and 7.4 percent answered "Nikos Andrulakis".

Decisions on the road map to be followed in the PASOK Party regarding the presidency and party administration are expected to be announced on Sunday, 30 June.
