The İpsala-Kipi bridge and its periphery, which connects Türkiye and Greece, were cleaned by the two countries hand in hand.
In order to prevent possible flood disasters, the garbage accumulated around the bridge forming the border was cleaned by the Turks and Greeks working together.

The Meriç River, whose waters rise from time to time, especially during the winter months, has been causing great damage to the cultivated lands on both the Greek and Turkish sides in the past years.
In response to a possible flood disaster, the area was cleaned for precautionary purposes with the joint work carried out for precautionary purposes.
