Çavuşoğlu reminding that Greece had sentenced to prison and fined muftis elected by the people, and tried to silence the adhan in Western Thrace under the excuse of the coronavirus, added that "These are not sincere," pointing at the Greek State.
Çavuşoğlu referring to his counterpart Dendias who said that Greece is not ready to solve the problems stated that they will never be ready in response to the criticisms made by the Greek State for the Quran read in Hagia Sophia even though the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) are not implemented, elected muftis are judged violating the rights of the minority and being the only European country without a mosque in its capital
