The new government led by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis received a vote of confidence from the parliament.

In the 300-seat parliament, 158 deputies of the ruling New Democracy-New Democracy party gave a vote of confidence to the Mitsotakis government established after the general elections on 25 June.
