Greece’s tax authorities have detected an anesthesiologist in Thessaloniki who hid income amounting to nearly €290,000 in 2016 and 2017.
The case was examined by the Administrative Court of First Instance of Thessaloniki, following an appeal by the doctor against the tax administration’s actions, which assessed amounts that, according to the audit findings, were linked to discrepancies between actual receipts and the issued tax documents.
By dismissing the appeal, the administrative judges ratified the tax authorities’ decision.
