Student housing allowance applications reopen in Greece
A new opportunity has been announced for thousands of students in Greece seeking the annual housing allowance (stegastiko). According to the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, applications for the 2024–2025 academic year have been reopened.
Application Period
The new window runs from September 16 to 19, 2025, specifically for those who missed the original application period, which took place from June 30 to July 31, 2025.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the ministry’s platform:

Applicants will need to log in using their TAXISnet username and password, issued by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (A.A.D.E.).
Deadline Reminder
The ministry emphasized that the system will close on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 23:59, and urged students not to wait until the last minute to apply.
Eligibility
To qualify for the support, students must meet both academic performance and income requirements, as set out in the program guidelines.
