Ships docked on Nov. 20 due to strike action

The seamen's union federation PNO on Wednesday announced its decision to join a 24-hour strike on November 20 called by the General Confederation of Employees of Greece (GSEE).
The seamen's union federation PNO on Wednesday announced its decision to join a 24-hour strike on November 20 called by the General Confederation of Employees of Greece (GSEE).
PNO said the strike will begin at 00:001 and end at 24:00 on November 20, during which time all ships will remain docked.
The central demand of the strike is action to deal with the housing crisis, restore collective labour law and the reduction of employee purchasing power.
It noted that Greek seamen were particularly hard hit by all the above problems.
