Interior Ministry Secretary General Stavrianoudakis resigned over emails sent to Greeks abroad.
The resignation of Michalis Stavrianoudakis, Secretary General of the Interior Ministry, was confirmed by government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis in an interview with Real FM radio.
Stavrianoudakis resigned over the issue of sending e-mails to Greeks abroad ahead of the European elections. This resignation comes after Anna-Michelle Asimakopoulou withdrew from the New Democracy party's list for the European Parliament elections over the same issue.
