Rainfall, thunderstorms and local hailstorms are forecast for Greece on Thursday and Friday
Severe weather with heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and local hailstorms is forecast for Greece on Thursday and Friday, according to an emergency hazardous weather bulletin issued by the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (HNMS).
This significant deterioration in weather conditions will be caused by cold air masses in the upper atmosphere over Central Europe, which will move through the Adriatic and reach our region.
Most areas of Greece will be affected by severe weather phenomena, HNMS said.
