Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni highlighted the significance of the bath, describing it as one of the most unique architectural works of its time and the only bath complex in Nafplion. Following a site inspection two years ago, it was decided that the 18th-century bath would undergo restoration. Mendoni emphasized that the restoration plan will be based on the findings of archaeological research to identify all original features and distinct construction phases of the bath.

Halit Habip Oğlu, President of the Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe (ABTTF), welcomed the news, expressing hope that other neglected Ottoman-Turkish monuments across the country will also be restored. He praised the Ministry’s recent attention to cultural heritage, referencing ongoing restoration efforts at the Sultan Çelebi Mehmet Mosque in Didymoteicho.
