The Falakro Ski Resort has been leased to a private operator who is responsible for managing the café and equipment rental shops, as well as ensuring the safety of visitors.
The Falakro Ski Resort in Drama opened its doors to the public last Sunday, with the base facilities and specifically the two slopes, Baby 1 and Mesta, now operational, as reported by the Regional Deputy for Agricultural Economics, Environment, and Energy, Argyri Patakakis, to ERT Komotini.
The Falakro Ski Resort has been leased to a private operator who is responsible for managing the café and equipment rental shops, as well as ensuring the safety of visitors.
In the next phase, the four-seat chairlift, which has been inactive for the past five years, will resume operation, along with the café at the "snow hole." The administration also plans to operate the resort year-round, utilizing the mountain in addition to the ski center.
