Mild weather and local showers expected across Greece
Partly cloudy skies with occasional showers are expected across Greece on Friday, especially in the west, eastern and southern Aegean regions. Early morning fog may limit visibility in some areas.
Winds will be south-southwesterly, ranging from 3 to 5 Beaufort, while temperatures will remain stable. Highs will reach 14 degrees Celsius in northern Greece, 15-17 degrees in most regions, and up to 18 degrees in the southern Aegean. Frost is likely in parts of the northwest during early hours.
Meteorologist Theodoros Kolydas anticipates a temperature drop by mid-month. Over the weekend, heavier cloud cover will bring rain and isolated thunderstorms, particularly in southeastern areas, with light snowfall expected in the mountains of Epirus and Macedonia.
By Sunday and during the Epiphany holiday on Monday, weather conditions will improve across much of the country, though scattered showers may linger over parts of the Aegean.
