Market Pass: New payments to thousands of people today

Thousands of beneficiaries of the programme will see money in their accounts under Market Pass on Monday.

Today's payment under the Market Pass support programme will cover the months of November and December 2023.

Who benefits
This payment concerns beneficiaries residing in disaster-affected areas, who applied for Market Pass after 31 October 2023 and received payments in August, September and October.

However, beneficiaries of the affected regions who were paid on 20 December 2023 will not be paid again.

Digital bank cards

Market Pass digital debit cards will remain active until 29 February 2024. Therefore, no transactions will be possible outside this date. They can also be used for online transactions.

The amount of assistance per household is 10% of the monthly purchase amount, set at 220 euros for a single-member household and increased by 100 euros for each additional household member, up to a maximum of 1,000 euros for purchases.

In case the beneficiary chooses to credit a bank account, the amount of assistance granted is 80 per cent of the above amount.

For each additional dependent or guest, 100 euro is added to the estimated household purchases, so that the monthly subsidy increases by 10,00 euro if a digital debit card is chosen, or by 8,00 euro if a bank deposit is chosen as the method of payment of the benefit.
