Incredible scam: It cost her thousands of euros

According to information from cretapost, a 41-year-old woman met a man online at the beginning of February. Both had frequent communication with the 41-year-old convinced that he has fallen in love with her. The unknown assailant had told her that he lived abroad, however he was willing to come to Greece and stay together.

In fact, he convinced her to pay him some money in order to be able to come to Greece.

In total, from February 4 to March 9, the 41-year-old had sent him 9 remittances with 105,600 euros!

She finally realized that it was a fraud and the day before yesterday she went to the police station and reported the incident.
