A tragic traffic accident occurred on Sunday evening in Patras, on Smyrnis Street, when a car collided first with a motorcycle and then with a bus.
A tragic traffic accident occurred on Sunday evening in Patras, on Smyrnis Street, when a car collided first with a motorcycle and then with a bus.
Following the crash, the 59-year-old car driver was found unconscious and removed from the vehicle. Emergency responders transported him to "Agios Andreas" General State Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
During the collision, the motorcycle driver (approximately 65 years old) and the bus driver sustained injuries.
Initial investigations suggest that the car driver may have suffered a heart attack before the accident, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and crash into the motorcycle and then the bus.
An official investigation into the incident is ongoing.
