A 60-year-old woman has died after succumbing to injuries sustained in a four-meter fall from her balcony in Halkidiki, northern Greece.
A 60-year-old woman has died after succumbing to injuries sustained in a four-meter fall from her balcony in Halkidiki, northern Greece.
The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon while she was doing housework on the balcony of her home in the village of Galatista. According to reports, she fell when the balcony railings gave way.
She was rushed to the local Polygyro hospital but passed away several hours later.
Polygyro police authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
