According to the statement made by the Turkish Athletics Federation, Tentoglu, who recently won the gold medal at the European Indoor Athletics Championships held in Istanbul, auctioned off the spiked shoes he wore while being the winner in the Olympics.

Tentoglu's spiked shoes found buyers for 20 thousand euros. Sofia Sakorafa, President of the Greek Athletics Federation, invested this money in AFAD for earthquake victims. Sakorafa presented the relevant document to Fatih Çintimar, President of the Turkish Athletics Federation.

In the meeting of the presidents, Çintimar thanked Sakorafa for his support. Sakorafa, on the other hand, thanked the Turkish people for their condolence messages regarding the train accident in Greece and said, "I hope the athletics community will show this unity and solidarity not only in such disasters, but always." she used the phrase.
