A 45-year old individual was arrested in Efkarpia, Thessaloniki for alleged membership in a drug-dealing ring.

A 45-year old individual was arrested in Efkarpia, Thessaloniki for alleged membership in a drug-dealing ring.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided a parking lot where they found the suspect with three packages of heroin weighing a total of 1 kilo and 531 grams.According to police, the suspect belongs to a drug-dealing ring that imports drugs from Bulgaria and distributes them to the Greek market. The seized amount, they said, was going to be distributed to other members of the ring in the area of Thessaloniki.
A search in the suspect's house revealed an additional amount of heroin (143 grams).
The man is due to appear before a local prosecutor.
