Deputy Foreign Minister Varvitsiotis: "Get well soon Türkiye!"
Deputy Foreign Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis signed the condolence book opened at the Athens Embassy of Türkiye for the victims of the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş on behalf of the Greek government.
Varvitsiotis, who also met with Türkiye's Ambassador to Athens Çağatay Erciyes, noted the following in his condolence book:
"On behalf of the Greek people and the Greek government, I would like to express my sincere condolences on behalf of the Greek people and the Greek government for the people who tragically lost their lives in the aftermath of two catastrophic earthquakes in Türkiye. Greece shows solidarity and will do everything possible to help save people's lives."
In his message in his condolence book, Varvitsiotis said in Turkish "Get well soon Türkiye!" also included his statement.
