Deadline today for €700 and €1,000 family support applications in Greece
Today, Monday, September 22, 2025, marks the final day to apply for financial aid offered by OPEKA to mothers with three or more children.
Under the program, 2,500 mothers with three children (triteknes) will receive €700 each, while 600 mothers with larger families (polyteknes) will receive €1,000 each. Applications are submitted online through the OPEKA and IDIKA platforms.
Applicants must log in using their Taxisnet credentials and AMKA number, and provide details such as contact information, IBAN, spouse, and children’s data. Supporting documents (e.g., unemployment certificates, student IDs) can be uploaded, and incomplete applications may be saved as drafts to be finalized later.
⚠️ Important reminder: If the number of applications exceeds the available quota, beneficiaries will be selected via an electronic lottery, with results announced on OPEKA’s official website.
Who is eligible?
Eligible groups include:
- e-EFKA (formerly OGA) insured persons,
- e-EFKA (OGA) pensioners,
- Pensioners under the uninsured elderly scheme,
- OPEKA staff and retirees,
- Families of employees transferred from OGA to e-EFKA.
Conditions:
- At least 3 unmarried, unemployed children for mothers of three,
- At least 4 unmarried, unemployed children for large families.
Age limits for children:
- Up to 18 years old (if unemployed),
- Up to 19 years old (if in secondary school),
- Up to 24 years old (if in higher or vocational education).
- Children with a disability rate of 50% or more are also included.
