The government has extended the deadline for citizens to obtain their Personal Number by two months, with the new cutoff set for November 5.
The government has extended the deadline for citizens to obtain their Personal Number by two months, with the new cutoff set for November 5.
Citizens may choose the first two digits of their number’s prefix either through the myInfo application on pa.gov.gr, at Citizens’ Service Centers (KEP), or via Greek Consular Authorities abroad.
The extension aims to give the public maximum time to complete the process, in line with legislative provisions.
The system automatically generates the third digit, which is alphabetical.
